Travel Booking Trap: Prices Jump at the Last Second

0

Many travelers are complaining about how some online travel websites, like Ticket.se and FlightNetwork, handle ticket prices.

People say that after spending 10–15 minutes choosing flights and filling in all their details, including credit card information, the price suddenly goes up at the last step. In some cases, the increase is around 500 SEK per person, and users are told to accept the new price quickly to secure the ticket.

What’s even more frustrating is that for some users, the price increases again—even after they agree to pay the higher amount the first time. This second increase happens just before payment is completed, making customers feel confused and pressured.

Many travelers feel this is unfair and stressful, especially after they have already spent time entering all their information. Some say it makes them lose trust in these websites.

Travel companies say prices can change quickly because airline tickets are based on demand and availability. But customers believe the final price should be clearer and not keep changing at the last moment.

Experts suggest checking prices on different websites and being careful if the price suddenly changes right before payment.
